United Way offers two grants that students have the potential to access for their Take Action projects. The Building Blocks grant is available for use towards one-time events. It is available in small amounts ($100-$1000) to help purchase materials, supplies, or services used towards activities that provide solutions to local, neighbourhood, or community issues. The grants are approved continually throughout the year, and can be applied for at any time. Students must write a short follow up report (a maximum of 2 pages) within one year of funding.
