Youth Programs with Rotary Clubs of Winnipeg
Rotary Clubs of Winnipeg offer several programs for youth to get engaged in global issues. Meet other young people passionate about social justice and create a life-long network of politically active global citizens through Winnipeg Rotary.
Adventures in Global Citizenship is a jump start course for students about to enter university, to learn about local and global human rights challenges and opportunities, and their implications for global citizenship. This course is offered in August, in cooperation with the University of Winnipeg’s Global College and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
The Rotary also supports Interact Clubs (which students can start up at their school) to benefit their community and foster international understanding. Other great opportunities include Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in August, the Rotary Youth Exchange, and the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) held annually in March.
