June Online Book Club

Our online book club selection for June is here! If you missed April and May you can check out April’s books here, and May here.  Here are June’s three books from the middle years, high school and adult age ranges on our book lists, that are also available for download from the Winnipeg Public Library. Why not try a new book to get your students or family thinking globally?

Middle Years (Gr. 5-8):

Highschool (Gr. 9-12): 

Dear Martin, by Nic Stone. Available online as an audiobook and eBook from the Winnipeg Public Library

powerful story about race relations in the USA, told from the perspective of an honour student who gets arrested by police. 

Adult:  

The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind: Creating Currents Of Electricity And Hope, by William Kamkwamba. Available online as an eBook and audiobook from the Winnipeg Public Library
